Davison Working On Book To Pay Tribute To Local Veterans

More than 600 names of Spartanburg County veterans and the name of the conflict in which they fought are engraved on a memorial at the American Legion in Duncan Park. Frieda Davison, the dean of the library at the University of South Carolina Upstate who has a passion for genealogy, is working on a book project that will ensure these veterans memory is preserved for posterity.

Starting in the next few weeks, schools in Baltimore and Nairobi, Kenya will be added to the projects.
